Guest guest
Sher, Yes I was quite pleased about the clubbing outing but let me say that I didn't actually dance while in the club. I sat the whole evening. I only went because the DJ is one of my close friends and I wanted to show him some support before I leave for Italy. Now onto my mystery identity:-) Sararegine and Sazymania are in fact the same person i.e. ME! My name is Sara Regine but my best friend's nickname for me is Sazy and I have 2 different emails hence the email address confusion. Hope that clarifies the confusion. Sorry:-( And it is me and Caboose that call you the giraffe:-) As for the steroids I'm pretty sure they will have given you some while you were out like a light. It's standard during this type of surgery and also explains why we have our UP and DOWN days. The steroids not only help minimize the swelling but they also act as an UPPER. As the steroids leave our system we suffer a form of withdrawal which leads to one of our crying spells. As if we didn't have enough to worry about! Well you sound like you've been keeping yourself very busy. It does feel good to be doing stuff again, helps make the days go by faster. I can't wait to be able to actually exercise properly again. Oh and for the swimming, I asked my OS about that because now that I'm going back to Italy I often go to the beach. He told me it was ok for me to wade into the water and swim gently but absolutely NO DIVING for a while. I think I can live with that:-) Well I'll let you know how my desplinting goes tomorrow. Fingers crossed it goes well. But if it doesn't must repeat to myself the secret orthognathic mantra " Be patient, be patient, be patient " . Sara aka Sararegine aka Sazymania > Well Sara-- congrats to you for braving a night out!! I actually bought > tickets to a n Austin concert being held here on our military base > on July 16th. Feels good to be in the 'know' with regards to who I am talking to!! ok....now my turn to give some words of encouragement....Sara, yo uwill do just fine without the splint..REmember that we dont even do that here. I went right from wires to removeable elastics and have been doing just fine. Infact, most of mypain in the right side is gone and I can open my mouth quite wide!! You will be just fine~you'll see...what type of work are you applying for in Italy?? THis is so exciting....can;t wait to see pictures.. Sher > > Well Sara-- congrats to you for braving a night out!!
