Guest guest
Cool thanks for letting us know that. I will try that. And that also follows the same thing the nutritionist told me that you will absorb the iron better because of the Vit. C. Good all around. Guest guest
, I try to stick with Alpine Lace reduced fat hard cheese but I have eaten the regular cheese also. As far as cottage cheese goes I stick to no fat or 2% fat. At this point I'm not counting calories or fat since I'm not getting anywhere near enough calories in, my nutritionist told me not to worry. I need to get in as much as I can tolerate. Laurette 4/23/04 open rny 309/290/238/
Guest guest
JJ, I experienced a little bit of the dumping once and your right, how fun it was NOT!!!! If he took my cheese away from me I don't know what I'd do. Although I have noticed that my body reacts differently to low fat cheese compared to regular. Guess I need that little bit of fat to make my system work better, if you know what I mean...lol. Well you have a great day and keep up the good work. Guest guest
Laurette, I had my surgery 5 days after yours, and getting enough nutrition's and vitamins and protein takes a lot of afford, especially since my family is still eating the regular stuff. I was told not to get over 800 cal. a day, and I don't think I break the limit. The protein is the hardest part: I used to love cheese and milk, but just the taste of fat makes me sick to my pouch " . I also had the chance to experience the " dumping " syndrome - no fun!!!!! Guest guest
Laurette I love Goat cheese and they used to have it at WD for a reasonable price, but they took it of the program. Now I am looking, but even Walmart is high!!!! Sucks to be on a budget....Now, I'm absolutely not giving up, but it would be nice to have a larger market to choose from. (Sorry, my English is not the best). JJ -- Re: protein JJ, I experienced a little bit of the dumping once and your right, how fun it was NOT!!!! Guest guest
Thanks. I have looked at the site and it looks like a very good option. If it has no taste then it won't be too hard to get our protein in. Wow to be able to mix it with our water. Has anyone else tried it? Thanks again.
