Guest guest
Thanks Regina, I am soooooo happy and sooooo scared at the same time. It wasn't THAT long ago that you guys were having to put up with me whining (THERE YOU GO! HA!) about not wanting reconstructive surgery. Life has a way of changing things. You'll do just fine. I found the tummy tuck to be way better pain wise than the wls. Very sore, but not a lot of pain. Then I got a somewhat rare complication (who me, how unusual) a necrotic fat mass which was so excruciatingly painful, that Vicodin and I werejustlikethis for about three weeks. The surgery itself, a breeze. I'm sure you'll do well. I'm really happy for you. Regina

Guest guest
Debbie, Congratulations. Plan on spending a good 4- 6 weeks mostly in bed recovering. I just had mine done on Aug 21. It's 4 weeks today and I still am not up to much at all. It is pretty painful but the results are great. I lost 8 pounds of skin and in the four weeks post surgery my total weight loss has been 10 pounds so I think it gave me a jump start. I'm hoping to lose another 20! Guest guest
Dawna I forget who suggested it, but yes you should read up on GHD from the Magic division. We still want you here mind you!! don't leave but you may find information that will be useful. One thing I know is that GHD kids need the GH for life as more of their body development into adulthood is controlled by the GH. I forget all that it does but it's more than " just growth " . Our kids (RSS) don't need it because there is GH in their body, enough it seems to handle those other parts of the body, just not enough for some reason to promote growth. That's my understanding of it all anyway. Deb More good news > > > More relief! We finally got an appointment with the new ped!!!!!
