Guest guest
Hi, It has been one year since I started SCD!!! I am so proud that I haven't purposely eaten anything illegal in that time. It is so hard sometimes when everyone around you is eating whatever and you don't. But what has helped is thinking about how much better I feel. That I can actually plan to do something without knowing where each and every restroom is. Sometimes I would just stay home, because I didn't want to risk the embarassment of an " accident " . Now I pack my food and take off. After a year I am also feeling good enough to be more adventurous with my cooking. I tend to get in a rut with cooking and eating the same things, especially since I didn't have much energy. But now I actually dripped yogurt and made cheesecake for the first time. Oh, I know, it's Intro! But the whole dripping and mixing and baking just seemed like too much work. Now I'm feeling good enough to tackle something new. It really is very good. My question is: About 4 months ago my mouth got very sore, with a strange taste. It went away and now it's back again - though not as bad. Is it possible that this is caused by my gut ecology changing? Thanks for your help. Terri S. Guest guest
Terri, Congratulations!! Mouth sores can be viral, or yeast, allergies... What do they look like and where are the sore spots? Maybe Terry- our dental expert- will see this PJ > > Hi, > > It has been one year since I started SCD!!! I am so proud that I haven't purposely eaten anything illegal in that time.
