Guest guest
The Children's Act For Responsible Employment (The CARE ACT, HR 3564)would close some of the loopholes in the Fair Labor Standards Act that currently allow children as young as age 16 to work in hazardous agricultural jobs. It would also strengthen protections for child farmworkers by removing current exemptions for employers of non-family-member child agricultural workers.
