Guest guest
Welcome back Michele! SO glad to see you're already up and about and it sounds like your in less pain, or at least in as little pain as you can be after a second surgery, new hardware and your mouth wired shut. Well I'm glad that I'm not getting the dissolvable screws, I'd actually read about them and thought that they would be a good idea but after hearing about your story I'm not so sure. Anyway, get some good rest and try to get as many liquids as possible ino you. Keep us posted on your progress. Here's to hoping that the second time around is a lot easier. Guest guest
Michele, I'm glad that your second surgery went better than the first. I'm wired shut, too. It's no picnic - but is becoming more and more tolerable. Take it one day at a time and visit the group when you can. I know it has helped me, immensely! All the best, Carol > Hey everyone, I had my secvond surgery yesterday. My first surgery was > 2 weeks ago and I had hardware that failed. I had a new product > disolveable screws. Guest guest
Hi Michele, I am glad all went well the second time around. I am sure it is frustrating, but at least you are on the other side of that now. Glad to see you feeling well enough to post anyway. Take it easy, and glad you are back! Hugs, Fran > Hey everyone, I had my secvond surgery yesterday. My first surgery was > 2 weeks ago and I had hardware that failed. I had a new product > disolveable screws. Guest guest
Hi Michele, I am at a very early stage of this process. I have had three OD consults and one with Dr West in Seattle for the surgery. I am in process of getting insurance approval, then proceeding with the braces. It would be great to have a fixed signature for each member to use so it is easier to keep track of our procedure status. One of the other boards I am a member of has that, and it is fantastic. You can include your surgery info, dates, procedures you are having, your geographical location, physician used etc etc. It would be great for this site as the members are literally from all over the world. Does anyone reading this know how to set a signature like this up? I am in the same situation today. DH and my sons are both working, and so I get to have some quality time with the my computer! lol Keep us posted as you progress. Anyway, I am glad you are home and doing better. Will watch for your posts as you progress too. Fran > > Hi Michele, > > I am glad all went well the second time around.
