Carol,

Thanks for this post. The better ones I've had recently did have a

lot or orange on them. But., alas, they are few and far between and the

small ones with the orange spots, still aren't ripe.

Argghh.

Once fall comes, and the weather is cool, I think I'll have a

squash bonaza month and really get ahead on cooking them and freezing.

because I know next early summer, there won't be any to be had worth a

plug nickel.
