Hi there Steve, that sounds a bit nasty, what exactly do they do when

they wire you up? Are you have upper and lower done?

Will be having upper, lower and genio this friday. Wires were wrapped around

each tooth which connects to an arch bar that goes across all teeth. Pain is

better but I still can't eat tough foods. I guess I'm getting a taste of things

to come.

I never had arch bars. But this is more testimony why I think i'd

rather have had the regular brackets and wires. They don't require

gas for installation, and it's not that painful to put them on. Or at

least it wasn't for me. Not fun, but not real pain.

Just think what you've been missing all these months, steve... I'm

sorry you're hurting now, though.
