Guest guest
I know how you feel. I have no insurance coverage. What insurance do you have? I am looking for one that will cover remicade infusion. To: NS <neurosarcoidosis >Sent: Fri, December 3, 2010 1:10:21 PMSubject: Rant sit down OK guys here I go.... I am so sick of the BS of dealing with Insurance companies, what the he-- do we pay them for anyway, and not only pay them but pay through the nose for it, and then they still get to dictatewhat and when we get something, it's sick. My last Remicade just didn't give me the whole boost itusually does, and I'm in Pain So my doctor who is wonderful agreed to two things, one increasing my dose of Remicade at the next infusion, the end of the month, since that does nothing to help me now, he also agreed to 3 days of IV steroids, BUT and yes this is a BIG BUT, I can only go to the O.P. infusion center at the hospital, (Dam insurance company says so) BUT I can't get in until Sunday, YA you like that one, Freakin Sunday, so I guess Today and Tomorrow and most of Sunday I get to deal with the pain and numbness, and not to mention the moods that come withall that, Can you believe it, I've been taking extra MSM, leaving on Tylenol and Advil, it barely takesthe edge off, most of it is head pain, and I have some new pain too. I'm glad he is increasing my Remicade, although I'm sure that the Insurance company will find a way to screw that up, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD WE LIVE IN!!! It's gone crazy, who cares what the pt needs anymore, it's all about the insurance company we are paying out the nose to just have. also found out that we can't change insurance company for someone cheaper, as the one we have is the only one that pays for Remicade the others don't at all, or so I'm told! ( you know like in a movie, it would be great to fake my way to the top of the insurance company, and when I get there, give every pt. what they need until the company is bankrupt, then quit and walk away with my multimillion dollar severance pay yes this would be justice.) OK earth to Marla. Thanks for listening somehow I already feel better, could be the MSM and Tylenol kicking in? NO it's my good friends listening to me go on and on, love ya all, and hope you are having a better day! MarlaJust one day at a time, That's all God ask of us. for there never really is a tomorrow, as that too is just today:)
