Guest guest
I happened upon this. Anyone use coconut oil for the body? I assume they mean the same spectrum oil that I buy?? ----------- Coconut oil works well. You can't beat a single ingredient item. It's much less greasy than it sounds. Smells good too. It also works as a lip balm, eye make-up remover, eye cream, mouth wash and it's great at taking out any stinging or burning on your legs after you shave. You can also apparantly use it to make your hair soft and as a deodorant (but I haven't tried those yet) It's healthy to eat too. I keep one jar in my kitchen and one in my bathroom. ------- Marla
Guest guest
Marla,I use it mixed in with my regular skin lotion -- about 1/2 and 1/2. I also use it as a leave-in conditioner for my hair and as a face moisturizer--start with small quantities and adjust as necessary. When I add it to my wet hair, it is hard to tell if I have too much until I try to blow dry it. AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Sun, June 20, 2010 7:56:35 AMSubject: Re: Coconut Oil for body? Guest guest
I use it on my skin, as a deodorant and I eat it. I've also used it as a sun screen.
