Guest guest
No... I am sure that is why they denied the claim. Although she did not have any signs until around 3 months, but the doctor said it would correct itself by 6 months. It didn't...On Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 12:42 PM, Durocher <funwith4@...> wrote: has the child had the same insurance since birth? Guest guest
Did she have a gap in coverage? I ask this b/c they tried to deny almost everything for my dd b/c of our gap in coverage (would have been 3 month and you are limited to 60 days to be protected by hippa) but we had medacaid (which is considered group coverage) during those 3 month (dh was laid off). So if he had prior group health coverage and never had a gap in coverage greater than 60 days than it is pretty straightforward, they can't claim any preexisting conditions due to hippa law. However if that doesn't apply the fight may be longeer On 11/20/09, Natasha Thorson <natasha.thorson@...> wrote: > No... I am sure that is why they denied the claim. Guest guest
No there was no gap in our coverage. We went and saw Cranial Technologies a couple of weeks before our insurance changed over to the new insurance company and then went again to CT to proceed with treatment. So technically, it was a pre-existing condition since we had seen CT before we changed insurance... do you know if we would have any chance to make a claim? Thank you so much!On Sat, Nov 21, 2009 at 5:37 AM, Durocher <funwith4@...> wrote: Did she have a gap in coverage?
