Guest guest
, what is the difference in the free books? Are they just older? Also, I mark up a lot of books & dog-ear them to find quotes or passages that I want to read again. Is there a way to mark books on the kindle? Ramblin' RoseModerator A merry heart is good medicine. Guest guest
Many of the free books are older or they are loss-leaders...which means the first one is free, or very inexpensive, in a series but the rest are regular priced. It's a great way to try a new author. I downloaded all of Jane Austin's books for free. Yes, there is a way to write notes and highlight favorites passages. I check every Thursday for new free books. I am addicted to the free stuff....lol. Many of the older books, like older movies, are free of adult words. And they have more wit and substance.Life may not always be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we might as well dance!
