Guest guest
Hey, I think it does. I missed 2x and there is no other reason than the weight loss and the hormones stored in the fat cells. At least that is what my OBGYN said..... JJ -- Question for the ladies After getting the gastric bypass surgery will it effect your menstrual cycle and how many periods u have? Guest guest
My first period after the surgery was late by about three weeks, very, very heavy - not normal for me at all. (My surgery was four months ago) but since they've been right on schedule, lighter and actually shorter in duration - but I think that also has to do with the fact that I'm healthier and eater better. Just my two cents.

Guest guest
I haven't had any problems. My cycle has been very normal. A little heavier right after surgery, but I'm sure that has to do with the stress of the surgery on my body. Now it is fine and I'm a little over 5 months out. in Delaware Lap RNY 3/10/04 261/171/
