Guest guest
Congrats, ! Glad to hear you are on the road to health and the diet is helping!~ Just wanted to say that today is my first anniversary on the diet! I would say (are you listening, newbies?) that the first six months I was pretty conscious of everything all the time. The second six months settled down a whole lot and most things are pretty automatic now unless I'm testing a new food. In some ways it's very hard to believe it's been a year. In that time, I can say that my gut has settled down a lot. More to go, but definitely better than it was. I've improved enough that I've had the energy to find out I have two other major problems: mitochondrial failure and adrenal failure, both of which I am working on now, too, along wiht the diet. So, to the newbies: hang in there! It does get better. Promise!

Guest guest
, Congratulations on getting through one year on SCD! It is an accomplishment. You already knew so much about your own body and how to eat, you made it look easy. Your positive attitude and perserverance as well as your general friendliness bode well for your future challenges with your mitochondrial and adrenal issues. Know that we are all here to support you. Best- Terry > > Just wanted to say that today is my first anniversary on the diet!
