Guest guest
My son stopped his 1/4 teaspoon of yogurt. This is his third attempt at trying to start it but every time he does, his stools go from mush or semi-formed to more liquid and he has major gurggling going on. He has been on the diet now for 2,almost 3 months. I have ordered GI Prostart scdolphilus as well as s.boulardii...what are the odds that he will be able to handle these? You'll have to start incrementally small - and not every day - maybe every third day or something. The deterioration in the stools could be a sign of die off from the newly introduced probiotics - which is something you want ultimately although it is unpleasant to go through. Have your son read through these files: http://www.pecanbread.com/new/probiotics1.html http://www.pecanbread.com/new/begindiet1soup.html Mara
