Guest guest
Donna, Something I didn't think of and one of my doctors recommended was to go to a consignment shop. Since your weight will be continually decreasing over the year. I'm so excited myself. Someone sent me a sweater that I love but could not wear..too small. A size LARGE, I am always wearing XXXL. Yesterday it fit though like you a bit tight! But just the fact that I had it on my body...ZIPPED & ALL, was a great feeling. ALL of my clothes are frumpy and big on me now, though I am trying to resist shopping because summer is nearing the end, and I know it will be money better spent elsewhere. I plan on giving myself a shopping venture for my b-day in October. Thank goodness I get uniforms from my job, as those are all way too big also. OOOOOOOOHHHH What a feeling! Guest guest
For everybody shopping for new clothes, I have a suggestion. Before I began teaching blind children in the school system, I worked at Goodwill training the handicapped. They always had the cutest clothes come in, but they were always too small for me. I told my husband the other day that I can't wait until I can go in there and buy clothes. Before I worked there, I would not shop there, because we felt that it was a place for the underpriveledged, and it was not fair for us to take from someone that needed it. After working there, I realized that that is not what Goodwill is for. Goodwill is there to raise money to train handicapped people, so that they can get jobs in the community. Just a suggestion at how to do some " cheap " clothes replacement until you reach your goal weight. > Well, I started out in a 26/28 and now wearing a 20/22 depending on > the clothes, though when I went shopping with my friend, she MADE me > try on a demin skirt...size 18! and I got into it...it fit like my > jeans did when I was 315...SUPER TIGHT!
