Guest guest
I posted a few times here before. Our son is 5 months old and met with a specialist at out Childrens Hospital in Cincinnati yesterday. He is 10 mm off...which we were told is considered moderate. The flat spot is only on the lower right side (he had left torticollis) so they think it will be pretty easy to correct. He gets scanned on Monday. There is no asymmetry with his face and the right ear is only slightly higher than the left. We were torn by what to do...so we decided to go ahead with the helmet to avoid any problems in the future. We thik he is perfect but don't want him to be teased or have any complications down the road from plagio. I am worried he has sensitive skin and I hope the helmet doesn't irritate it or cause problems. Anyone have skin problems? We will be using a Hanger cranial band. I know a few people here said they have had good luck with the Hanger locations in Cincinnati areas, so I hope we do to, but I am still pretty nervous.
