Luna had a much better experience than I. Maybe it is because I'm in my

early 50s. My teeth are banded shut with no opportunity to take the

bands off. I have a plastic piece between my teeth which I can feel

with my tongue which may be a splint. I can talk through clenched

teeth, but people have a difficult time understanding me, so I usually

write. The first three days were so very uncomfortable., but now at the

beginning of day 5, I feel okay. Yesterday I only took one 2-hour nap

instead of the two naps the previous days. I do not want company. I

don't feel like going anywhere. I just want to get to my appointment

next week and hopefully get the bands off.

funny thing,,,, my Mother-in=law was here last night because of a

birthday party, and it didn't seems to matter that I couldn't talk. She

just kept going on and on and didn't need my input.
