Guest guest
Hi Sheri, I had my surgery on April 23, 2004 and I've been eating the occasional salad since about 6 weeks out or whenever I started the soft food stage. It was hard for me to believe in the beginning that salad was considered a soft food but they (doctors and post-op WLS patients) that salad as a soft food...lol. I get the occasional taco salad from Taco Bell, eat about half of it and just a bite or two of the shell. I know I shouldn't do the shell but I figure that one or two bites wouldn't be any worse than a cracker or two. I've had no problems with eating it and I've also had a salad or two at a restuarant with no problems. Good luck and take care. Guest guest
I'd be interested too, my doctor said I can have salad around Thanksgiving. I love salad and have been craving it.
