Guest guest
Cheryl, Boy girlfriend, you have really gone through it. Glad to hear they have an answer now but what a dilemma. I wish you and the nutrienist luck in getting a diet that will work for you. Take care and God bless. Guest guest
Cheryl, Thanks for the update!! I have never heard of this since doing all of my research prior to surgery. This is quite interesting and I like to hear what type of diet you are put on my the nutritionist. Were you still trying to eat/drink the protein, fats, vegetables, starch or condensed carbs including milk products? Did you have diabetes before surgery? I pray they can find you something to eat that will be nourishing and good. Hugs, in AL.
Guest guest
Cheryl, Wow, that is interesting. I am sure that you don't think so. Well thank God that they found you some sort of answer. It might not be the easiest thing to deal with but at least you know where to go from here. I am sure that the nutrionist will be able to work something out that will work for you. I pray that you solution is coming soon. Guest guest
Yes, I was still trying to eat all of the things my body would not tolerate including broth and water. I was in so much pain they perscribed a pain patch to wear all of the time.(narcotic) That was rough. Well my doctor said he would call me this evening with the information to the nutritionist. I will keep you posted on what kind of diet we work out. They are thinking about giving me enzymes to take to help me be able to digest other things. We will see.
