tossing candy down the disposal is not a sin. It will not deprive any

starving children. Saving it until they return is not a mitzvah (good deed).

Good news.....only three piece of candy corn crossed my lips.....first the

white tip, then the yellow section, then the orange piece!! Nibble, nibble,

nibble

Bad news...hubby had me make 15 bags of candy for his little league team (they

had a tournament in Utah this weekend) and he left all 15 bags here!!!

Whew!!! I'm so lucky I'm not a big candy fan. Now if we gave out crackers

and cheese for Halloween I'd be in big trouble.

I think this is a pretty good example of why I am grateful that I never had

children. I think the restraint you showed was admirable. I would have had

ALL his personal belongings on the lawn about 5 minutes after he said that

to me.

Your house, your rules. Stay strong. If your son wants to live in

your house, he will have to follow your rules or find a place of his

own. You cannot dictate to him what he should feed his kid, however,

you can dictate what comes into your home. Besides, all that junk is

not good for the kid.

Amen. Tough love, it's your house, your life, your health. Set the

boundaries and don't move the stick.

You Go Girl!!

Stay strong w/your son AND kick him out if necessary. He needs to

respect your wishes and be grateful he has you to help him out in

his time of need. Good Luck.
