Guest guest
Hey, y'all! (echo, Hey, Rose!) Those of you who have been with us for awhile remember the various chatrooms we've had. The last one was kindly set up by Marla's son Joe & was my favorite. I'm not sure what happened to it; I think I was in my hiding away phase at the time. I know some folks have asked about chats, so I've been researching easy ways to set up chatrooms. The only one I think I could manage is by a site called Chatzy. It's a no-frills site, so no cute little emoticons, but I think it would fulfill our needs. Because we have periodically had some resentments & hurt feelings over religious issues here on the list, we had a chatroom set aside for religious chats. Anyone could participate, but it was pretty much Christian-based, rather than diverse religions. But it provided a forum for folks who wanted to talk more about the place of God & religion in their lives. I will try to get this done in the next few days & we'll give it a try! The chatroom(s) would be open all the time, but with specific times set aside for designated topics, whatever. Any feedback, requests, suggestions? Guest guest
That sounds like a great idea Rose, I've talked to Joe about it, but he is so busy with work, now working full time doing all the fun things he has always wanted to do, web pages, videos, and other computer type things. And he doesn't live at home anymore, and has a girl friend, so just trying to get him to come over for dinner is difficult. So I think what you've talked about sounds great, and like you said we can say different times for different subjects, or if someone wants to chat with someone, they can make clear the subject before they go there. Thanks Rose for all your wonderful work, you have been on top of things, and I know everyone appreciates you, I know I do! Ms MarlaJust one day at a time, That's all God ask of us. for there never really is a tomorrow, as that too is just today:) Hey, y'all! (echo, Hey, Rose!)
