I have seen the recipe with

My skinny sisters recipe

1 pkg lime jello

1 pkg cream cheese

1 small tub cool whip or 1 package Dream Whip prepared or the

equivalent whipped cream (she usually used whipped cream)

1 can sweetened crushed pineapple - with syrup

toasted pecans pieces

My sister in law with a big family recipe

1 - 2 pkg lime jello

1 container cottage cheese

1/2 small tub cool whip 1 cup milk

1 can crushed pineapple sweetened or unsweetened what ever is cheapest

and syrup

My mothers recipe

1 package lime jello

1 container cottage cheese - blended until smooth mixed with

1 packaged prepared Dream Whip - I honestly don't know if they still

make the stuff

1 can crushed pineapple

So you can make it pretty much the way you want to. My husband won't

eat jello so I don't have a variation of this salad.

Thanks for the variations. They all sound so good! I another

friend that did something like that but used marshmellow too and

pitaschio flavored jello. Looked good too!
