Guest guest
Hello everyone, Had my pre-op work done yesterday for my June 10th surgery. Went to the hospital for testing then to the OS office for molds, pic's and wires. When they put the wires on me it was very painfull, they gave me 10 shots to numb my mouth and some gas but I still felt the pain. Did not sleep to well last night, Tylenol helped a little. Hopefully the pain will get better, at least untill next week's surgery, then it will start all over again. Steve
Guest guest
Steve, It sounds like you're moving forward ... and almost there. I was curious to know what wires you recieved that you had to have gas and shots. Hang in there ... try and keep positive! Guest guest
Carol, Wires were wrapped around each tooth which is digging into my gums. Each of the wires is twisted around a bar going across my teeth. I'm still hurting. miss_redagain2005 <no_reply > wrote: Steve, It sounds like you're moving forward ... and almost there. Guest guest
Steve, That sounds awful. I'm so sorry to hear it. Have you mentioned this to your orthodontist or surgeon? I would think that if these wires are going to be in your mouth for a while that they shouldn't be digging into your gums. Hang in there ... maybe one of your doctors can help? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Carol > > Hello everyone, > > Had my pre-op work done yesterday for my June 10th surgery.
