Guest guest
Kathy, Iron and calcium directly compete for the same receptor structures in the small intestine, and calcium " wins " meaning you cannot count that iron. I would never ingest the two as supplements within two hours of each other. Guest guest
Ok, well, I've decided my constant tiredness is probably not just because of my awful schedule, and I did test a bit low when I tried to give blood. So, having paid NO attention when the various kinds of iron were discussed, I have to ask -- fumerate ok or not ok? If not fumie, what is ok? Yes, yes, I know I work for Vitalady and she will have that answer, but when you're actually AROUND her you find out how difficult it is to really SEE her! Guest guest
Lyn, Ferrous fumerate and carbonyl iron are both great, as is ferrous gluconate. Ferrous sulfate is the evil one. Guest guest
Well, I don't work for Vitalady (the commute would be a KILLER from Florida to WA State but when I've been out there I've seen firsthand how difficult it is for anyone to actually pin her down in person. ---------------------------------------- Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com http://www.5dollarhosting.com .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune!
