Guest guest
You would need callipers to take the measurements. If you look down at the top of your child’s head you would measure from the Front/Right to the Back/Left (U1) and from the Front/Left to the Back/Right (U2) and take the difference of the two measurements (U1-U2). The diagonal would start approximately at the outside corner of your child’s eye. I hope this makes sense! We are getting a cast done next week and I have a couple questions My daughter is 7 months old, and we took her today to cranial tech in The Woodlands, TX. She has positional plagiocephaly only, but is 17mm... What is normal or considered acceptable? Also how bad is the casting, the picture look HORRIBLE! I don't want her to be scared, she just started getting separation anxiety and will cry when I leave the room What have any of you doen to help them cope with having thier eyes covered for so long? After that it is Helmet time, and fighting with United Healthcare. ------------ --------- --------- ------ For more plagio info, go to www.plagiocephaly. org/support
