Have

you seen a neurologist and had a complete workup? Remember that some

neuropathies show up in puberty, and that there are several that cause

dizziness. I had to see several neurologists and go through a lot of

tests before I found one that discovered several conditions I’m dealing

with. You’ve had the tilt table test checking for blood pressure

changes, haven’t you? And a spinal and brain MRI looking for

malformations or tumors? How about nerve conduction tests around the

ears? Ultrasounds of the carotid artery? ECG? And there are plenty of other

neurological tests…

I’m

still looking for a metabolic specialist, and I still have to see a

mitochondrial specialist. But I know I’ll get a better diagnosis if

I wait until my condition worsens… My deterioration is slow, fortunately.

I find that dizziness is only one of the symptoms that hit me at once,

and it helps me to know which cause I’m dealing with based on the other

symptoms. Does it happen when I’m lying down, or getting up, or bending? Happen

after a meal or before a meal? Am I dehydrated or dealing with

fluctuating blood glucose levels?

MayoClinic

lists some of the common causes of dizziness: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/dizziness/DS00435/DSECTION=causes

It

can be difficult to narrow down a cause when dizziness is a symptom triggered

by different body systems.

I've

written before about my 15 year old daughter who is on this diet.

Started to lower her lexapro in April and she started to be dizzy. It has

lasted still to this day. She's having cranial sacral massages thru chiro,

totally off lexapro for 3 weeks, doing physical therapy with eye exercises because

it's a vestibular problem, still in detox mode with shakes, etc.

Just wondered everyone's opinion. and advice as to what the constant dizziness

stiill could be from.
