Guest guest
That's sure true! My grandma is pretty appalled at what my mom and I eat, and doesn't understand how anyone can live without potatoes and bread. She thinks we're starving my dad. He eats totally different than my mom and me (tons of bread, sugar, etc.), so I'm not sure why she thinks that. She actually told him he should go out to a restaurant for a real meal! She's 82, so I guess she thinks men aren't capable of whipping up their own potatoes ;-). I haven't seen her for 5 years (3 people, 2 pets, luggage, AND SCD food don't fit well in a Toyota Camry), but if I ever get the chance, I'll make some yummy almond flour treats for her to try. For now, I'm going to send an SCD cookbook with my mom so that she can show her that there is plenty of good food to be had on SCD :-).
