That's sure true! My grandma is pretty appalled at what my mom and I eat, and

doesn't understand how anyone can live without potatoes and bread. She thinks

we're starving my dad. He eats totally different than my mom and me (tons of

bread, sugar, etc.), so I'm not sure why she thinks that. She actually told him

he should go out to a restaurant for a real meal! She's 82, so I guess she

thinks men aren't capable of whipping up their own potatoes ;-).

I haven't seen her for 5 years (3 people, 2 pets, luggage, AND SCD food don't

fit well in a Toyota Camry), but if I ever get the chance, I'll make some yummy

almond flour treats for her to try. For now, I'm going to send an SCD cookbook

with my mom so that she can show her that there is plenty of good food to be had

on SCD :-).
