I'm super sensitive to caffeine. If I drink it I can drink up to 8 cups a day. I'm stressed, jittery, can't sleep, losing hair. Overall it makes me feel terrible. > So why stop drinking coffee? :-) Because I feel better when I don't drink it and I have no self control and I drink it from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed. It's not a good thing for me. Misty
Guest guest
I absolutely LOVE the taste of coffee, and the buzz I get from it if I only drink it once in a while. But I notice that has strange effects on my blood sugar. If I have coffee in the morning I have to eat more frequently that day or else I get extremely cranky! I think I remember Sally Fallon (of Nourishing Traditions, Weston A. Price Foundation) saying something about coffee having some not-so-good effects, and I don't think she was talking about digestion. But I can't remember now. Also some folks are clearly more strongly affected by it. If I drink it after 11 a.m. I won't sleep at night. My mom can have a cup after dinner and sleep just fine. > I'm curious why you don't drink coffee anymore. Does it bother your digestive system? Do you think it's bad for you in other ways?
