Guest guest
In my last message, I told you how I had been prescribed cyclosporine as the next medication of choice. Unfortunately, it seems to have affected my kidney function and I have been retaining water. My weight has varied almost daily by four or five pounds up and down and my legs and feet have become quite swollen. I managed to see the specialist yesterday, who told me that not only was this true, but the sarc had relapsed. He has suggested remicade (infliximab). This will start at the beginning of next month. In the meantime, the level of pred is to be increased. Best regards,
Guest guest
, I am sorry to hear you are in a relapse, I'm on Remicade and have been for a year and 1/2, I found it to be helpful right away, it has slowed the progression of the Sarc down, in some ways I am better, much better, and in other things I continue to see slight progression, I am also on Plaquanil, and Metotrexate, and you should be on at least one of these drugs along with the Remicade. Good luck on your treatment. MarlaJust one day at a time, That's all God ask of us. for there never really is a tomorrow, as that too is just today:) In my last message, I told you how I had been prescribed cyclosporine as the next medication of choice.
