I can really relate to this one. I had my hair cut from way below my

waist to a REALLY short cut one week before my surgery. (I was

anticipating hair loss - didn't happen!). I work as a social worker

at several schools for the school board and work a teacher's

schedule. I had my surgery the day after our last day of work in the

2001-02 school year. I lost quite a bit of weight during the 2 months

I was off over the summer. Lots of people did not see the short hair

cut before I we left for the summer. When school started and some saw

me, they first noticed the huge change in hair style. I can't tell

you how many told me, " Wow, I like your hair cut. It makes you look

so much thinner! " When I told my hairdresser, he said he was going

to advertise that for people to come to him for a hair cut so they

would look thinner (and not need WLS)! LOL
