Sorry guys, I'm on major overload and making huge changes to my meds-- (I'm off all of them..) and I'm tired of having to be the one to sit on the fencepost, trying to find a way to make all of you feel wanted, cared for, and not offend any one persons belief system.

Personally, my relationship in faith is wonderful and yes, I found this funny.

This last week, I've had "friends" decide that I had the energy to sit with someone local and volunteer my time-- and I don't have any energy to take care of me-- yet alone others.

I've been jumped by my family for not "taking" the time for my parents. Sadly, I don't have the energy.

I'm looking, needing, and wanting to find some humor in living with chronic illness-- and those of you that have been around for years--- know how many hours and days, and weeks, and months-- that I've been assisting all of you with this journey.

Neurosarcoidisis, in my case, affects the Executive Function part of my brain, that's where we make decisions and handle the day to day challenges in personality, relationships, problem solving, multi-tasking, etc.

It amazes me that it's ok for you to choose your way of expression-- but when it's one of the owners (me) or (moderators) -- we aren't supposed to be as human as the rest. It's not ok for me to share this humor, but it's ok for all of you to share your stuff-- the fears, tears, etc.

None of you realize how little support your owners and moderators get-- we are expected to answer all your posts, and I'm feeling quite alone in my battle.

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAY

In Florida , an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.

The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring,"Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays.."

The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."

The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."

The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is ad jo urned.."; You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture! This is too good not to forward

I am so behind Tracie, and just want to say that we have been down this road before; of people feeling offended by someone's post, and we all decided the best thing to do is: read and delete, or don't read and delete. 

When discussing Religion or anything that others might take offense too, put it in the Subject line, that way anyone that doesn't want to read, or get into a certain subject, just delete it.  We have tried to keep the peace, but as you see, it's wearing many of us down.  We come here all of us, even Tracie for each others support, right now she needs are support and Love more then ever, so lets give back to her what she has given to us.  If your offended by what you've read, PLEASE just delete it and move on.

If your offended by email, I'm sorry, but again I would say just delete it.  If however you have something positive to say please do so,  we need positive around us, this disease has given all of us more negative attention then we can deal with.

I hope you see that I am writing this out of love and respect for ALL that Tracie and many other Mods has given all of us.  PLEASE give her your full support and respect by staying positive.  I'm not saying you can't rant and vent here, and yes we do sometimes say negative things in our rants, but there usually about ourselves not about another post.

FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLY DAY

In Florida , an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days.

He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.

The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring,"Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays.."

The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."

I am so behind Tracie, and just want to say that we have been down this road before; of people feeling offended by someone's post, and we all decided the best thing to do is: read and delete, or don't read and delete. 

When discussing Religion or anything that others might take offense too, put it in the Subject line, that way anyone that doesn't want to read, or get into a certain subject, just delete it.  We have tried to keep the peace, but as you see, it's wearing many of us down.  We come here all of us, even Tracie for each others support, right now she needs are support and Love more then ever, so lets give back to her what she has given to us.  If your offended by what you've read, PLEASE just delete it and move on.

If your offended by email, I'm sorry, but again I would say just delete it.  If however you have something positive to say please do so,  we need positive around us, this disease has given all of us more negative attention then we can deal with.

I hope you see that I am writing this out of love and respect for ALL that Tracie and many other Mods has given all of us.  PLEASE give her your full support and respect by staying positive.  I'm not saying you can't rant and vent here, and yes we do sometimes say negative things in our rants, but there usually about ourselves not about another post.

Sorry guys, I'm on major overload and making huge changes to my meds-- (I'm off all of them..) and I'm tired of having to be the one to sit on the fencepost, trying to find a way to make all of you feel wanted, cared for, and not offend any one persons belief system.

Personally, my relationship in faith is wonderful and yes, I found this funny. 

This last week, I've had " friends " decide that I had the energy to sit with someone local and volunteer my time-- and I don't have any energy to take care of me-- yet alone others.

I've been jumped by my family for not " taking " the time for my parents.  Sadly, I don't have the energy.

I'm looking, needing, and wanting to find some humor in living with chronic illness-- and those of you that have been around for years--- know how many hours and days, and weeks, and months-- that I've been assisting all of you with this journey.

Neurosarcoidisis, in my case, affects the Executive Function part of my brain, that's where we make decisions and handle the day to day challenges in personality, relationships, problem solving, multi-tasking, etc.

It amazes me that it's ok for you to choose your way of expression-- but when it's one of the owners (me) or (moderators) -- we aren't supposed to be as human as the rest.  It's not ok for me to share this humor, but it's ok for all of you to share your stuff-- the fears, tears, etc. 

None of you realize how little support your owners and moderators get-- we are expected to answer all your posts, and I'm feeling quite alone in my battle.
