Guest guest
, That sounds like a good idea. I might even try it. I've only lost 45 lbs since my surgery April 23, 2004. People tell me thats great but I see others losing so much more and I wonder. Oh don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for every pound lost, it's lost forever. But I do reach those plateaus seems like every 20 lbs or so. I've heard it's just my body catching up with me. That's what I'm hoping it is. Guest guest
I am also one year post op and have gotten stuck at -135, but I still have about 35-40 to go, and was wondering the same thing. Is Meridia the appetite suppressant or the fat blocker? Any info on this subject would be MOST appreciated! Helena (papa11h@...) Lap RNY 6/23/03 343/208/? Guest guest
Great suggestion Kelley! I will take that into consideration when I get frustrated too. in Delaware Lap RNY 3/10/04 261/179/
Guest guest
My dr told me that people vary in how fast they lose the weight, but that most people end up the same-70% of their weight gone-at 12-18 months. I try to keep that in mind when the scale doesn't move like I think it should. Just a thought. Kelley Babydollbbw3@... wrote: > , > > That sounds like a good idea. I might even try it. Guest guest
Meridia is the fat blocker pill. Messes with your digestion of fats. I'd guess it's something we could NOT take after GBS. > > > I am also one year post op and have gotten stuck at -135, but I still have > about 35-40 to go, and was wondering the same thing.
