" Their weight fluctuates a few pounds and they cut back and it goes down. That's how life is supposed to be. No one can eat perfectly day in and day out and maintain just one weight. Some days you eat better than others. I've watched my " normie " friends and this is how they live. Most of the time they eat regular, healthy meals. Sometimes they binge for a meal or two or a day or two. Then they go back to eating normally. This is how I always wanted to be and this is how I'm becoming. IMO goal weight isn't just one number, it's an acceptable range. Right now I flucturate between 138-142. I'd like to drop the range to 135-139, and if it happens that's great. If not, I'm happy where I am. Guest guest
We can't get rid of the sweet tooth... but FOR ME... getting rid of the carbs helps keep it less active. Even some of the so-called substitutes can set it off. My " sweet " treat is my protein shake as silly as that sounds. I even have to be careful and not make any of the " sugar " free recipes that have been posted on the lists. The substitute " goodies " get me wanting the real thing. Sugar-free jello I can handle ... but I don't like that much. Maybe that is why. hehehehe. I can handle the sugar free hard candies too.. but why? Except when I have a bad cold and need cough drops and use the sugar free version. FORGET the sugar-free chocolates though. Either they taste so good that I want more ... or they taste so lousy that I want to eat something to satisfy that urge that is disappointed. But i can tell you that " I " go about 3 weeks of a whatever diet and in my whatever diet i try to eat healthy. It ry to eat protien first the my veggies but i always have some kinda of junk around that i know isnt good for me and i end up eating it. So then when i notice i have gained a few pounds i go on a straight protien diet for about 3 days. It is a cycle for me. Im at goal and i want to stay there. This is what works for me becuase even tho i had this wls they forgot to take my sweet tooth away. I know this is probably not the right way to deal with this but it works and has kept me in the same pant size for almost 16 months. So my take on everything is finding something that works for you and stick to it.I JUST WISH MY WIEGHT NEVER EVER FLUCUATED(SP?)
