In Defense of Popcorn

I love popcorn too, and because of the way I make it (in the microwave,

in a special bowl, with no oil), and then I don't add any butter or salt

to it either... I feel guiltless about it. It's good fiber, and it's

about a million times better than the equally-loved Doritos. If it's

popcorn or Oreos, who do you think should win?? LOL It doesn't seem to

fire up the carb monster for me, so I try not to sweat it. And anyway,

normies snack. I am going to snack, I am not going to live in complete

and utter denial forever and ever amen. Therefore, don't even TRY to

take away my popcorn. :-)

Re: new postie

Is it easier to detox from Peeps than Popcorn. When I think of not

having it here, I completely panic. You would think the popcorn was one

of my children.

All this talk lately of popcorn with you and Fay and others has been driving

me crazy! I have been craving popcorn for about 8 months now, and I LOVE it,

but was afraid to try it cause I thought it would give me serious digestive

problems. Today finally I couldn't take it any more, and emboldened by

everyone on this list who has been eating popcorn, I threw caution to the wind

and

nuked myself up a big bag of Act II butter, and it was SOOOOOOOOO delicious.

I am talking one of those 3 portion " regular " size bags, okay??? and I ate the

ENTIRE thing. Yes it fit, no pouch problems, and I figure that's because

popcorn has visually great volume but chews up to little volume. At least

that's my rationalization LOL! It tasted wonderful, and it digested just fine.

Fay, I was in popcorn paradise! It was a lovely place!

It just makes me feel good. But, every once it a while it does get stuck and

I have to throw up. It is rare but it can happen. I just received an order

for baked cheese chips. Let you all know what happens.
