Guest guest
Sure, I think goat milk is the only one that gets ruined. I periodically get distracted and the milk boils over ( and what a mess). Don't you have 4 kids? This is bound to happen!! LOL PJ > > i let my son's cow milk boil over out of the pot - shut it off and checked temp it was almost 200 - still good?? > thanks > E > 2 1/2 years scd >

Guest guest
Hey :)200 should be fine, but I'm a little unclear and concerned, i don't think it should boil at 200, doesn't it have to be higher than 200 to boil? I've mistakenly let mine go to over 220 (that's as high as the thermometer goes), it smelled burned, but still wasn't boiling.. water boils at 212 F, right? how'd it boil over the pot? Best wishes! i let my son's cow milk boil over out of the pot - shut it off and checked temp it was almost 200 - still good?? thanks E 2 1/2 years scd
Guest guest
Hey - she probably was referring to when the milk bubbles/foams over. Yes, technically it's not at a boil. But, mine does the same thing around 200 degrees- it foams over. -Joanna > > > > > > > i let my son's cow milk boil over out of the pot - shut it off and checked > > temp it was almost 200 - still good?? > > thanks > > E > > 2 1/2 years scd > > > > > > >
Guest guest
oh didn't think of that - but yes i guess it foamed over as the temp was 200 right after shutting it off eileen > > > > > > > > > > > i let my son's cow milk boil over out of the pot - shut it off and checked > > > temp it was almost 200 - still good?? > > > thanks > > > E > > > 2 1/2 years scd > > > > > > > > > > > >
