Guest guest
With Kaiser, I am paying $100.00 co-pay for the whole surgery. It can't get better than this. > > So, after paying my copay of my surgical fees ($5300) of a total > > $15,000, I got my bill from the hospital today for $30,000. Guest guest
Jayar, So far my bills have included $5K for braces, $5K for an upper paletal expander (at the same time I spent $4k for my Son's braces), approx. $25K for an upper jaw surgical procedure, $15K for the hospital (these are from memory - I honestly am not sure if they were a tad higher or lower - I guess I blocked it out!), and now $36K for my surgeon and $32K for the hospital - for upper and lower surgery (they even charged me $11K for incidentals ... now what the hell is that?!?) So, being in NY ... I know the costs here are higher. But, that sounds about right.
