With Kaiser, I am paying $100.00 co-pay for the whole surgery. It

can't get better than this.

Jayar,

So far my bills have included $5K for braces, $5K for an upper paletal

expander (at the same time I spent $4k for my Son's braces),

approx. $25K for an upper jaw surgical procedure, $15K for the

hospital (these are from memory - I honestly am not sure if they were

a tad higher or lower - I guess I blocked it out!),

and now $36K for my surgeon and $32K for the hospital - for upper and

lower surgery (they even charged me $11K for incidentals ... now what

the hell is that?!?)

So, being in NY ... I know the costs here are higher. But, that

sounds about right.
