Guest guest
Wow, , when someone says that this surgery is " the easy way out " , I think we should refer them to you. Congrats on a healthy son and I hope all your problems are behind you now. Guest guest
My name is Kricket and I had my surgery on 11-13-02 (90cm proximal RNY). My start weight was 298 and I am now 140 (5'8 " ). My surgeon was Dr. Patchen Dellinger in Seattle, WA. This has been an amazing year for me. I am so grateful to have a second chance at life. I had many comorbs, but thankfully they are all resolved now. I am 35, married and have 4 kids (two of whom have mild autism). I am so thankful that I can be active with them now. Prior to my surgery I was just " existing " both physically and emotionally, now I am an active participant in my life. I also post on the protein list and GBIC so some of you may already know me. :-) Plus I have had the good fortune of meeting some of the members on this list already. Anyway, life is good and I am glad I am finally legal to post after so many months of lurking here. :-) ~Kricket 11-13-02 298/
