Luna,

Are you using the Peridex rinse? If so, that's probably your culprit

for the white mark on your tooth. I had all kinds of white marks on my

front teeth from them. After a good brushing, (when I was able to

brush good),it did go away. I hope that's the cause:-).

Is Peridex a flouride rinse like Act and Phos-Flur? I've been using

those, plus lots of hydrogen peroxide since the surgery. Glad to hear

yours went away; hope mine will too. L

Peridex is an anti-biotic rinse, but I think one of its main

ingredients is hydrogen peroxide. So, that may be the white spots.

OK, thanks! I will doublecheck with my ortho when I see him in two

weeks, but that helps me feel better for now. I would hate to have all

this work done only to have white marks forever on my teeth! L

nope, Peridex is a prescription mouthwash. I'm not sure what's in it.

My peridontist had me using it for a while, then instructed me to stop,

and never explained why.

I dunno about the white spot. I think I'd ask either my ortho, my

surgeon or my regular dentist.
