Guest guest
Hi Bridget, I'm on day three of the protein train and it's really worked so far. I dropped 5 lbs in the first day and tomorrow morning I'll see how I've done the last two days. I'll keep you posted. Guest guest
i'm doing 3 shakes (slim fast low carb) and mostly crystal light and propel each day. the first day was a little rough but after that it's been fairly easy. i'm surprised that with all the temptations for food i have here at the office.....the candy bars the kids are selling and the pizza, chinese food and mexican yesterday, i feel like i'm surrounded all day long....lol. but honestly i haven't had any troubles. my mind was set to make it work. i am on a mission and i hope this mission is one that i can fulfill and win. that's been my philosphy all the way through this. laurette 4/23/04 open rny 309/290/232/150 St. Charity Cleveland, Ohio

Guest guest
Are you doing just 3 shakes a day and the rest water? Just making sure I remember correctly. Have you been really hungry or has it been ok? ________________________________ From: Babydollbbw3@... Guest guest
Hey Bridget. I did the protein train over the Labor Day wekend and I had no problem. I did three shakes a day and treated myself to a little sugarfree pudding before bed. I lost 7 pounds in the three days and another 2 since Tuesday. I am almost to 260 and for three weeks, I was stuck at 269. So I would definately recommend it. I didn't have any problems and now that I have added the food back in, I wish I would stay on protein shakes. It seems to get harder and harder...(smile). But I am still trying. Good luck with it!! Guest guest
Just make sure you drink a lot of water, you don't want to get constipated from the protein drinks. in Delaware Lap RNY 3/10/04 261/165.5/

Guest guest
Hi, I know I have mentioned taking Slim Fast and its the Low Carb one. You have to make sure it's the Low Carb style, it has the most protein and less sugar. I like the Chocolate Royale and Strawberry & Cream. I know the Chocolate one has 20 grams and I think the Strawberry is probably the same or a few more. They aren't bad, I've had some that I could hardly get down. Good luck!! Guest guest
I had a question? Someone had mentioned taking a slimfast protein drink? I dont remember who but if you read this can you tell me which protein drink did you take? Because I take GNC Protein 95 powder but it is so Awful I can even swallow it without wanting to gag. Anyhow I ask about the Slimfast because I fingure maybe I can stand that better, but I looked at the orange pineapple slimfast (because it said it had soy protein on the can.) and it had like 39 grams of sugar, and the other ones are simular amounts in sugar. From what I remember from having this surgery is that sugar is a no no (ha ha ) anyhow would this defeat my purpose of weight loss if I drank it. > your so right .
