Guest guest
Sara, Thanks a bunch for your encouragement. I'm hopeful that my wires will be cut and my splint will be removed, as planned, on Wednesday. I'm nervous about my bone being ready, thought. I'm going to request that an x-ray be done (if it's not on the agenda already) so that I can see for myself. All this time and I could hardly stand it. Now, I'm almost tempted to keep everything stationary - 'cause I'm afraid it will fall apart. Sheesh! Will my drama never end?! Hanging in there, as best I can, Carol > Wow Carol, one more week to go, amazing!!!! I can't wait to hear how > you feel once you get dewired so I can only imagine what you must feel > like. You ship has almost entered the harbour:-)(not sure if that > makes sense in English, in fact I think I translated that from some > Italian saying...oops). > > Sara
Guest guest
Carol, I am sure they won't let you walk out of the office without any necessary support if the bone is not fully healed. I know Dr. Sachs will not let me remove my splint permanently for when I leave for Italy next Thursday if he doesn't like the way my bite and bones look. Stay calm. You have an awesome team of doctors looking after you:-) Keeping my fingers crossed that all will be fine come Weds and that you'll finally be able to enjoy your new bite! Guest guest
Sara, The rational part of my mind knows that you are 100% correct. It's the paranoid piece that has been driving me nuts! I had a really great conversation with my StepDad this morning. Well, actually, he talked and I listened ... and something clicked. So, I'm back on the positive side of the world ... and trying to stay there! Thanks for being there, Carol > > > Wow Carol, one more week to go, amazing!!!!
