Hi Mike, My name is Michele. I had lower jaw surgery first on the 26th of April and then again on 12 May. I had an infection and that caused my hardware to fail. Having said all of that, I am now on the road to recovery. The best thing to do is read all the posting and then take them all with a grain of salt. Everyone has a different recovery. The first week you will sleep alot and you will be learning a new way of eating. Sleep and food are your best friends in the recoery. The more you eat and drink the better you will feel. Everyday I feel different some days I feel very good and then there are days I feel tired. Today is a day I just don't feel right. It's hard to say just what isn't right. I was out all day yesterday and I was talking too much so that's more then likely the reason I'll a bit out of sorts today. So the long and short of it is sleep, eat, drink lots of water and don't over do anything. If you are doing something and start to feel tired stop you are over doing and you will pay for it. I wish you the best. Keep asking questions and try not to worry too much. Michele
