Huh. The one I looked at didn't say natural flavors. I wonder if there

are regional differences.

Is that both the salty and unsalted ones that had no natural flavors?

Sometimes unsalted has natural flavors when salted does not.

Ok, at Pecanbread it is believed

that the legality of Meyenburg goat butter is questionable because of the

" natural flavors " . One of the moderators there contacted the

company and their response is below. What are your thoughts on legality

having read this? I am sure a lot of the moms over there would love to

have some butter for their kiddos, but we are very cautious of course!

:)

I, personally, am very wary of anything labeled " with natural

flavors. "

I would get this statement in writing, on the Meyenberg letterhead, not

just an e-mail.

It sounds like it could be legal, because lactic acid is not

illegal. I think I would approach with caution, like any food, and be

prepared to yank if there are untoward reactions.
