Guest guest
I'm assuming that your daughter mainly has brachy, since her plagio number was mild to start with, and is now within normal range. Do you know what her Cephalic Index % is? We went with a 2nd band for my son's brachy. I am so glad that we did because the improvement was even better in the 2nd than the first band. > > Hello, > > We are about to graduate from our doc band and I am considering a second band. My daughter started out at 6.7 and is now down to 3.2. Great improvment! She had brach and plagio on her right side. How much difference did you see with a second doc band? I would like to see her head become rounder, but many people say nature will take over from now. I'm just not that sold. Any information on further success with a second doc band would be so appreciated! Thanks! > > >
Guest guest
My daughter had brachy and we had the option of getting a second band. She still wasn't in the " normal " range but had made significant improvements with the first band. I knew a second band would create more great results but we just weren't in a position to afford it and CT told us she was borderline and they thought either decision was just fine. So with the encouragement and strength from my husband I decided not to get another band. And now that it was been a couple of months I am really glad we didn't do it. Her head is now rounding out on its own so we continue to see improvements. Of course it isn't as fast as with a band, but it's great. Also, her hair is thickening quite fast without the band on, so it really helps show off the new shelf in the back and altogether look rounder. So for me personally, I am glad we didn't get a second band. That certainly doesn't mean it's not the right decision for someone else. Have you posted any pictures?? That would really help. I will say this- I definitely saw a lot of imperfections when we graduated frm the band, but I can honestly say her head has really improved on its own. We have no regrets about not getting a second band. www.leopardorpolkadots.blogpsot.com (pictures of her head are throughout the blog) > > Hello, > > We are about to graduate from our doc band and I am considering a second band.
