I've experienced this a few times myself since having the surgery - it's

definitely NO fun! I have a protein shake about 1/2 hour to 15 minutes

before a workout. I also avoid anything with refined white flour, potatoes

or rice because those kinds of things tend to give me problems with my

blood sugar. I carry around a protein bar at all times just in case I have

an episode. I've also used some peanut butter crackers in a pinch to pull

me out of it.
