Pam: Try putting your CC Milk over ice. For breakfast I take SF

Carnation Instant Breakfast Drink, scoop of vanilla protein, one cup of

water and one cup of Carb Countdown milk. A great, high protein,

breakfast.

I love the Carb Countdown Milk. I get the chocolate and mix it with

some

skim milk. Its to rich to drink it drink alone..

I go back and forth between the two...depends upon my mood. I also

drink a glass of chocolate CC milk at night if I'm having a sweet

craving.

Thanks that sounds good. Do you use white CC milk or chocolate?

your most important thing on your list for the hospital is the chap

stick....lol. i took a good portion of your list and didn't use any of it. was

in

there 3 days with open rny. my hospital had showers in our rooms with the

shampoo/soap (was able to take a shower the day i went home). i wasn't able to

wear

my robe because of the iv (the gowns were big enough to cover). also the use

of cell phones were not allowed in the hospital. i wore the same clothes

home as i did going in and no bra at home. no way was able to wear one no

matter

how big it was with the incision up to the breastbone. just something to

think about. you might not want to cart everything like i did....lol. take

care

and God bless!!!!

hi Laurette:

the reason some of us need to take more is not for the hospital it is because we

have to stay in a hotel after we get out and be there for approx 3 days because

we have a doc visit before we can go home. for those who are over hr and half

from home and go to Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego Calif. the hotels don't

always have a frig and or microwave so i am taking a hot pot to heat my broth

and if need be a small ice chest to keep everything cold ( they always have ice

for you) the rest is just to keep feeling human , need to take that shower and

wash that hair . I'm having lap so maybe the bra won't bother me , i have a

sports bra also and it is comfee. i have read alot of the people get to go home

only like one day in the hospital , well at mine we get to stay 3 days there so

we aare actually away from home at least 7 days because of the prop visit

unless you live close....

take care
