Planning to get surgery in early-mid August, but still havent heard from doc?

My doctor said that he planned to have the surgery around early august

and they sent out the insurance pre-authorization about a month ago...

however, I haven't heard back from them yet... should I be worried?

How long before your surgeries did you guys have urs scheduled?
