Fay, you're a better man than I. My surgery was July 6th and I haven't made

it thru one day without crying, haven't even been close. I cry a

lot..lol...so I'm really glad I found this group.

Hey Kathy,

I think we're all good men

Its funny about the crying though. I cried the morning of my surgery

because I was going to miss kissing my boyfriend. Since then, I think

I've been a bit cut off from my emotions because of my lacking ability

to express them as before. First there is the numbness, and add to

that the tightly banded teeth. I don't talk as much as I used to.

Perhaps I haven't been able to talk my way into a good cry. I'm

normally a very verbal person. I cherish the clarity that comes with

face to face communication...or it used to anyway:/.

I am looking forward to feeling more normal so I can cry (and laugh)

like I used to!
