I've written before about my 15 year old daughter who is on this diet.

Started to lower her lexapro in April and she started to be dizzy. It has lasted still to this day. She's having cranial sacral massages thru chiro, totally off lexapro for 3 weeks, doing physical therapy with eye exercises because it's a vestibular problem, still in detox mode with shakes, etc.

Just wondered everyone's opinion. and advice as to what the constant dizziness stiill could be from.

I'm concerned that I'm not a good cook and also that I hate to cook and the recipes overwhelm me. Also, I've lost 40 pounds in 5 months from lack of eating. I have another doctor's appt tomorrow. Not sure what the next step is but I am also reading a book my Dr. Mark Pimintel called the "New IBS Solution" and he mentioned a breath test for SIBO. SCD works. It's not a FAST cure. But I can tell you that the lady who was my mentor on the diet was told her gut looked like bloody lace. 14 months later, her doctor said he would not have believed she was the same patient if he had not diagnosed her himself.SCD cooking doesn't require elaborate cooking. My husband, who can burn water, if given a chance, can manage roasts and steamed vegetables.

you should read about SSRI withdrawal (sometimes called SSRI discontinuation syndrome).  there are a suite of possible symptoms that can appear if you don't taper off SSRIs slowly enough (and sometimes, even if you do so very slowly).  they're common - although usually ignored/denied by big pharma - and i've experienced them myself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSRI_discontinuation_syndromei also highly recommend reading _the antidepressant solution_ which can help you taper off them safely, with minimum side effects.
