Guest guest
and I'm not nervous....is there something wrong with that???? Maybe because I have had the last year to gear up for it after insurance denied me the first time. I'm more excited than anything. I guess maybe I'm not nervous is because I am such a " plan it out " person. I've got everything set for my husband and my daughter to make life easier on them (and me, so they don't have to depend on me). So now I just have to concentrate on stocking my cupboards with liquid nutrition (broths, boost, etc.). Then I can kick back and recover:-). My nerves may go haywire the night before, or that morning, but right now, I'm just enjoying feeling good while it lasts:-). My hospital room has internet access through the tv, but somehow I don't think I'll feel up to being online right away. I will be sure to tell you all how it went when I feel up to it. (and DH is taking lots of pictures:-)).
Guest guest
, Although I didn't have everything as organized as you do I was calm too up until the last few minutes. It wasn't until the nurse said " ok, say goodbye to your Mom and your Stepdad and your Boyfriend - 'cause it's time to go " . Then my heart started to go crazy and my breathing was rapid. I guess it's different for everyone. We'll be thinking about you on Tuesday. I have another post-op appointment then ... so I'll be thinking of you as I giggle while they take x-rays and I remember what Luna said! All the best, Carol > and I'm not nervous....is there something wrong with that???? Maybe > because I have had the last year to gear up for it after insurance > denied me the first time.
